With a link if available.

I think we can all pretty much agree nobody does training scenes like Rocky. So what else ya got?

So many great ones to choose from, but ill go with this little number from No Retreat No Surrender. Hilarious.

Enjoy

Same here. Here is a better quality of just the montage: LINK

Also Bloodsport.

Although not technically from the 80's it is a homage to the concept of the 80's montage (nice internal rhyme, eh?) by some of the best in the business.

(And it is a parody of the montage in Better Off Dead)

I remember the Bloodsport one too. Two excellent montages from Van Damme movies.

I was just about to post this too. Possibly the best montage ever, and it's definitely meant to be an "80s montage."

There was a montage in Team America, too, with a montage song, but I thought it was too overt. The Better Off Dead parody is better, IMHO.

I've never seen Better Off Dead, but I always looked at it (the Asspen one) as more of a montage from the 80s based on all the Ski School-type movies that came out.

I just want to say that during the rain delay at the Super Regional baseball game, someone had the incredible foresight to play both "No Easy Way Out" and "Hearts On Fire".

Whoever was sitting in that sound booth is a damn fine human being.

Obviously they rarely do direct parodies, even when the name of the episode suggests - I guess having only seen Hotdog...the movie and Better Off Dead, I only thought of those, as well as 80's movies in general. Once you look at it - doggone there seems to have been a bunch of ski movies.
