Bregman interview today
Posted by King of New Orleans on 6/17/13 at 11:09 pm30
Love the attitude
Posted it in another thread but I just felt like, after the day long meltdown, it needed its own thread.

"I want the ball hit to me again."
I like the attitude. I think he has a few big plays tomorrow.

Hopefully he doesn't press....which is what I think he has been doing since the Super Regional.

good. he should be. he let his team down. not that a few others didn't, but he let his team down.
Laird has finally stepped and started producing at the plate, presenting us with a GOLDEN opportunity, and our best bats grow cold simultaneously. With Laird producing better than he has all season, that should be giving us an extra run a game, but it hasn't translated into that at all.

laird should be batting lead off and put jones in the 2 hole.

put Raph in the two, and Jones in the 5. Katz wont always clear the bases, but thatll give more of a chance for Jones to be up with baserunners, instead of having Ty Ross stranding runners, and Raph not hitting Katz into a DP
I think the 2 hole would serve Raph well at this point, but however, if you did that, then the 6-9 would be utterly shitty.

McMullen has gone ice cold. He was hot for a mint or 2.
Actually how would you rate our hottest hitter at this point.
Jones
Laird
Raph
Rymes
Katz
Bregman
Ross
Stevenson
McMullen.
That's a killer line up.
Bergs really needs to turn it up tomorrow.

why would you want Jones lead off. he hits for extra bases a bit more than others on the team. you don't want him with no one on every time he gets to the plate. also, i still like Katz behind Bregs.
