Seems like we are on pace for the fewest homers at TD Ameritrade thus far...

Then 1 in 54 innings is the stat you're looking for.

Well, the powers that be have achieved their goal - level the playing field so the best power hitters are neutered and any rag arm can compete. They've made sure no team will ever dominate like LSU did in the 90s.

This is a bit off topic, but is there a calculation of about how much longer this park is playing than Rosenblatt?

I know the dimensions are the same in both parks, but factoring in the orientation of the park in respect to wind, and the new location of the stadium, is there a rough estimate of the differential.

Appreciate the heads up Astro, that's what I get for posting the link at the end of the last game of the day.

They've crossed the line from being difficult to being unfair. It's not just Ibarra. State and Indiana hit 3 balls tonight that couldn't be hit any better. State is unbeaten but gave up two bombs in the bottom of the 9th that should have sent them to the losers bracket or extra innings.

It is only compounded by the liberal strike zone, too.

The computer strike zone has consistently shown calls off the plate.

Every starter for all teams looks like a possible first pick overall.

The outfielders are playing closer to the infield than the wall in most cases.

It's ironic that at a time when college baseball could be reaching it's all time high in popularity, they went and shot themselves in the foot.

God forbid they went and allowed wood bats like the majors, they might crack skulls.

These bats are essentially wood. I don't see any difference. I thought these bats were supposed to have that one small sweet spot, but I don't see it.

They give us bats to perform like wood bats, but keep the balls that don't travel as far. Adding just 5' travel distance to the balls would be great and add several HR's to the total so far. MSU should of had a grand slam today.

It's ridiculous. They are consistently calling strikes inside and outside that any good hitter shouldn't swing
