Thoughts on CZ 75B

I've got a buddy who is telling me this is the best shooting handgun he's ever handled. Anyone here have any thoughts/experience with this so called Czech masterpiece?

It's a great shooter. Very smooth. Very ergonomic grip. Very low bore axis.
The only thing I don't like is the slide-in-frame design. It makes it more difficult to rack under stress. Well, I guess it's more of a training thing.
But besides that, if you can get used to it, I think it's a fine firearm.

It would be a plinker/fun gun Bapp. Would not be a carry piece. Have you heard anything about poor finish quality for the blued models?

No and I've handled a blued one in 40. It was very nicely finished.
They are great guns for the price.

Yes although I've never really had accuracy problems with any pistol I've shot
But with regard to follow up shots it is very smooth and easy to keep on target.
ETA, I like it enough to make me want a blued 97 with wood grips

Fine looking handgun. Great quality for price. Absolutely love this gun. Haven't come across it yet.
