2014 Bball Recruit Craig Victor was listed as one of NBPA's top performers

this past weekend at the NBPA Top 100 Camp in Charlottesville, VA.

Oh, and he's grown another inch to 6'9".
This isn't written, but NBA scounts attend these events as well and he was told that he based on what they've seen thus far for his class he'll be a projected top 10 pick in the 2016 draft.

Victor put together one of the top performances seen in the two day camp even though he was primarily matched-up with Kevon Looney, one of the top players in the country. Early-on all cylinders of Victor’s game were firing. He established position down low for easy and powerful dunks and he attacked the glass with a ferociousness rarely seen. At one point, he elevated for an offensive rebound over a defender and missed the put-back, so he jumped over the taller defender again for another put-back attempt that went in. Victor also showed off a nice shooting touch knocking in two 15 foot jump shots from the corners to go along with a three-pointer from the wing. Victor played aggressive all game long knocking in jumpers and using his quick leaping ability to own the boards. He also added in a few nice passes resulting in easy baskets for his team. On the defensive side of the ball he matched-up with anyone from the 6’8” Looney to the 7’0” Thon Maker and used fundamental footwork to keep them away from the basket.

It appears that many coaches and scouts told him the same thing I was worried about ... his motor. And according to the many reports I've seen, he's taken the advice to heart and been one of the hardest workers on the circuit (which is a vast difference).
That was just about my only issue with his game, go get him LSU.

Awesome report. Glad to see him taking steps in the right direction.
I've heard people talk about his relationship with Korey McCray, but how much of an impact do you think that (LSU hiring McCray) will have in Craig's decision?

I read an interview where he said that it shows that they (LSU) really want me.

LSU is throwing the kitchen sink, kichen plumbing, and hell basically the whole damn house at Craig.
They are doing a very good job with recruiting him from what I've been told, but it's still his decision and his alone. From a recruitng standpoint, there's not much left LSU can do to influence him. I've been impressed with their recruitment of him. They do stand in high regards within his list of schools. I believe when it comes down to him selecting a school LSU will be one of his top two schools. Whether or not he selects them will be only something he will decide.
I know from talking with him he set a goal for himself to get a big jump in the 2014 rankings during this AAU circuit and from all the reports I've seen he's done just that. I think the most recent ESPN 2014 rankings have him at 31 when previously they had him around 53 or so last year. He wants to be selected as a McDoanld's All American this year. He's definately on pace to reach that goal.

Thanks. I hope for him that he gets an offer from every school he desires, cause it's obvious he's putting in the time and is deserving.

I think he makes it. From everything I'm reading, he's been working hard and impressing everyone who observes him and is a top recruit on everyone's board. Best of Luck to him.
