What was the fake play UCLA did...

In the top of the 8th? Didn't understand message boards and couldn't catch video or audio.

The pitcher faked a pick off throw to 2nd and the man covering the bag and the center fielder acted as if the throw went into the outfield.. hoping to get the runner to wander off the bag.
I was hoping the baseball gods would smite them in the arse for pulling something like that. They usually do.

UCLA pitcher turned to 2nd and acted like he threw it. The 2nd baseman faked like it went into centerfield. Foster didn't fall for it.

pitcher wheeled around and faked a throw to 2nd base and the 2nd baseman dove as to act like he was diving for the ball and toa ct like the ball went into CF. They were hoping the runner from 2nd would go to 3rd where the pitcher was waiting with the ball to tag him out.

Spin move to second. Fake throw. Middle infield dives toward 2nd base. Centerfield crashing in. Didnt work on Foster. I'm sure he was very well aware of that play.

Yep.
Hard to argue that it wasn't bush league. I don't see how teams aren't embarrassed doing stuff like that.

I actually liked the play in that spot. There was no risk in it because you never were going to throw the ball to 2nd base. if it worked all they had to do was tag the runner going from 2nd to 3rd

Skip used the hidden ball trick at 2nd quite a few times in his day. Actually worked a couple of times.
It's only bush league when LSU doesn't do it...

Smart play. UCLA is a well coached team. Nice try on their part.
shite like that helped to get them to Omaha. They use the rules to dink and dunk you and capitalize on your mistakes.

It's not bush league seen to many plays similar to that work. Only way it's bush league is if the team doing it is up or down 10 runs
