LSU would probably have 3-4 home runs tonight in a regular sized ball park...seems like small ball has an advantage in a large park...

Maybe we should just play better defense and win 1-0.

How is not being able to field a ball or having the balls to make your best hitter bunt losing to small ball?

Ross effed up.
Bregman effed up.
Marinara sauce pussied out.

We didn't lose to small ball. Any one of yhose 3 take care of business and we're either in the winners bracket or still playing.

No doubt the new ballpark is beneficial to the west coast teams that play small ball. It is what it is. They ain't rebuilding the stadium so get over it.

Yep. 2 errors, 2 unearned runs. Can't do that in the CWS and expect to win.

Especially if you can't string together some hits and manufacture runs.

While I agree that the approach needed to change, what the NCAA has done to offense allowed a guy to pitch 7 innings of BP fastballs and get away with it. When in any other ballpark or without the stripped down bats would have given up at least 4 homeruns. When you throw balls in the locations he did you should pay for it. It is ridiculous.

Didn't he also say this park's dimensions are identical to Rosenblatt?

Is that true?

It's not the park, it's the bats.

It's the location of the park, in a valley with little to no wind. Balls no longer carry like they use to.

Ball carried at rosenblatt. Bats aren't the only difference. Ibarra hit 2, Stevenson had one and there SS had one

+1000

Nola pitched a 10x better game than 'high fastball' Plutkin. These bats will ruin pitchers in 7-8 years.

Yes, but different location and orientation so there's no wind blowing out to straight-away center anymore.
