BTW, I think it was another TitE thread I said this in, but I was a little disappointed in this movie. I laughed a good bit throughout the whole movie, but with the shite I was reading (best comedy I've seen in ____, funniest movie I've seen in theaters, I've never laughed so much, etc.) I was expecting it to be a lot funnier than it was. So while I loved the movie and thought it was solid, it was still a little disappointing for me.

But James Franco's death was one of the better deaths I've seen in a comedy movie. That was great.

It was the funniest movie I've seen since 2000. I judge that on how much I laughed.

I wont go that far personally

But on or near the level of the Ferrel comedies, the other great Apatow movies, and Beerfest/Supertroopers

Theres been a ton of great comedies the past 13 years

This, his enjoyment of the actors' other movies, and the good reviews led him to believe it had a more intelligent kind of humor

I didn't say it had to be intelligent humor, he just thought itd be more than jizz jokes the whole time. Think something like the cops from Superbad

I hope Anchorman 2 is up to par.

Did anyone else see the preview for that movie with the college freshman chick with the sex check list? That shite looks god awful.

If you look at the idea and the cast, it should be awesome

But the preview had the lamest most obvious jokes that fell flat. Even the extended Red Band trailer only had one scene that made me laugh and it was with Hader. They better not mess up a 90s time piece

I thought the red band trailer for The Heat was funny as hell. I won't pay to see it but I'll watch it eventually.

That was the first time I had ever seen a red band trailer in theaters.

And I'll pass on that movie...I'm tired of people shoving Melissa McCarthy down everyone's throat.
