Same height
Same arm strength
Same stats
Same ego

AJ will go to a mediocre-to-poor team and have a couple of starts before a real play-maker makes him a career backup.

I think AJ has benefitted from several thing
1. A grea t defense
2.a great offensive line
3. A great running game
4. Having more talent on the field than 90% of the teams he plays.

I think you gotta look really hard at howdy a team is winning before drafting a winning QB.

I think Brees has 5 years left, so the saints won't be drafting a QB this year. Maybe in two or three years they start looking for a replacement if they don't have one already.

I can't wait for the should we draft David Cornwell threads.

Wish Tahj Boyd was coming out a couple years later. I think he has all the tools to be the next Griffin, Wilson.

Brees' can easily play at a high level, even late in his career. Brees' game will be to similar to Kurt Warner. Both players are depend on accuracy. I expect Brees' to be playing at a high level late in his career.

Real question, do you think the success AJ has had over LSU in college could factor in to him going to the saints?

This is your "Real question", it's a pretty dumb question.

AJ will be a solid QB, especially at back-up. It is uncertain how good he will be without Saban's system though.

At least 5.

fricking awful. He has a decent arm and good size but he's been protected by the best 3 year line combination ever. The kid looks like he's playing 7on7 out there. The Saint have entirely too many needs to look at QB next year. I think as the Saints you be patient and wait for a kid to fall that you know shouldn't. Ala Brees and Rodgers.

he was a pro bowler in San Diego

he had a 105 QB rating the year before his injury.

3 completed passes and 0 touchdowns given up. He had a great game, but lets not act like LSU's D cost us that game

I think Brees has about six years left. I think he will be elite/near elite for three or four of those years, and still very good for a few after that.

okay, I tend to call it like I see it.

he has obviously had good fortune so far. He played for a solid team in high school and one of the best programs in college football.

put him on the Browns, Raiders, or Jaguars. Lets see what he's really made of.

5 years maybe.

He will be a very average to below average QB in the NFL. Dude has had the benefit of playing for one of the best programs in the country, a great running game, very good receivers and an excellent o-line. Most QB's would look great in a setup like that and if you can't even be average in that, you have no business being a QB.

He's not going to have that same luxury in the NFL. Take that all away from him and what do you get?

He isn't going to do much in the NFL, he'll get a few starts here and there and maybe one epic moment but that's about it.

Barring injury, I'd say at least five.

IDGAS as long as he can play. I doubt he'll be the guy, though. Smells like a troll OP.

Hell, take Brees for example - he was a "bust" in SD and then revived his career in NO. Combo of getting the right coach for the right QB (or vice versa), makes or breaks the QB/head coach.
