The Bengals once again will serve as the guinea pigs for Hard Knocks, the popular HBO and NFL Films series. As reported by Paul Domowitch of the Philadelphia Daily News (who apparently tweeted the news then deleted it) and confirmed by Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Bengals are the pick. Per Reedy, an announcement is coming next week.

The Bengals last served as the centerpiece for the show in 2009. Shrugging off the potential distractions, the Bengals unexpectedly won the AFC North with a 10-6 record.

Cobi Hamilton will be gold! He's a pretty entertaining follow on Twitter.

He got his first check a week ago and was bitching that 40% was taken off the top. I sent him some white guy tips on lowering that tax liability.

you realize Cincy won the AFCN after being on Hardknocks the last time.

Not that being on this series has any weight at all.

he shouldn't be fired, the fact he's got cincy to the post season that many times is amazing.

I do think Cincy needs to take the next step, with all of the talent they now have, and make a run at an AFC title/Super Bowl.
If they have an average record again this year, than I will think that Marvin can't get it done.

I loved the first time around.

I don't think Lewis should be fired by the way. I also don't think he is a particularly good coach. The Bengals are a fricking train wreck. I hate that I root for them, I should have waited until I moved to Louisiana to pick an NFL team.

Yeah, I think it will tough for them to do so, although the division is wide open. I don't really believe in Dalton. The Texans did everything they could to give Cincy a win this year in the playoffs and he (and the offense) did absolutely nothing.

I mean, he's been there for a decade. You'd think he could maybe improve over a fricking decade.
