LSU is sitting pretty if they beat UCLA which they should and Rodon beats NC. LSU then should beat NCState #2 pitcher. Then the loser bracket winner would have to beat LSU twice to keep them out of the finals.

It"s happened once. The other 6 times LSU started 2-0, they won the title.

6/7 when starting 2-0 is pretty darn good.

No, not according to Vegas and most of the sports writers.

Frick them.

Just enjoy one pitch at a time.

Our Tigers haven't been to Omaha in a while.

ESPN just brought that up, problem is UCLA is like Arkansas except their fielding percentage is equal to us and they aren't Arkansas

How does Plutko compare to Stanek or Gray?
I would think with Nola we only need 2-3 runs.

I hate it when people can't enjoy the game in front of them and instead try to predict 5 games ahead.

Two too many "ifs" in that scenario.

I rate the pac 12 as the second best baseball con. So overlooking a good ucla team would not be good.

I had a dream last night LSU lost to UCLA because I have to work Tuesday at 2 with no way around getting off.

I remember the year we beat USC in the opening game, and they came back thru the loser's bracket and beat us twice, so nothing is a sure thing. The one thing though about the UCLA game- Unless our bats are simply ice cold, the only way we lose to them is if we beat ourselves with errors. UCLA is the kind of team that thrives on this, since they don't have the real heavy hitters. I hope our fielding is on target tomorrow...
