Seats in Omaha... can someone with experience rank them?

I'm looking to buy seats ahead of time. Already have a few general admission, but wanted to know how much better the reserved seating view would be.

Can anyone rate the outfield bleachers, upper seats (300s), and the 100s along the baselines and coloser to the outfield.

Is it wise to pay double or triple for seats near the outfield along the baselines compared to the outfield bleachers?

No experience but from what I gather, GA tickets require standing in line to make sure you get in.

Also from what I've heard is that you'll pay less outside the stadium than you will on sites like StubHub.

I can't wait. I'll be on a plane in less than 24 headed up.

100s along the baselines are worth it. I wouldn't pay a premuim for uppers once you get past the bases though. The only difference between those and the GA seats is really just standing in line. I may have two in 106 with a parking pass if family doesn't make it to town if you're interested.

I think ticket prices on the scalping websites will start going down. It looks like their supply is starting to outnumber the demand (at least at the prices they are asking right now).

You can upgrade your GA tickets if you wait in line when the ticket office opens.

I'm sure there will be plenty of folks selling tickets around the stadium too.

When I went in 09 I had reserve seating for 1 game and then GA tickets for another. The fans in the GA tickets were way more fun to be around than in the reserved spot. I had a blast in GA section.

I haven't been to Omaha yet but I'm here this year. but the national championship when USC was in it one year. There were like 5 people who ran on the field all from GA section.

maybe someone can help me out, but I would think GA is more like the student section at tiger stadium, and the reserved seats like everywhere else in tiger stadium.

For me I don't care where I sit I want in the stadium to see my Tigers play.

GA is a younger crowd. You'll have a tons of youth baseball teams out there, high school students, and college students. There are plenty of adults too, and they tend to be the rowdier crowd if they aren't parents with their kids.

CWS has partnered with Flash Seats. They seem to be cheaper than Stubhub if buying in advance LINK

I've already used Flash Seats.

What I have found

probably a 70-150+ average for LSU games (4, 8, 12) if they win out

and 30-100+ average for non LSU games.

Shows how many more LSU fans there are here.

the thing is I think flash seats make a small amount of money for every single ticket exchange sale.

Example a 45 dollar seat is more around a 55 dollar seats with fees.

How do you pick up the tickets if you get them through Flash Seats?

You don't. You find the proper gate and then swipe your credit card. They give you a print out pass that serves kind of like a ticket.

Used Flash Seats for a Houston Rockets game and it is easy. You buy the ticket with your credit card on their site and link that card to your account. You go to the stadium and they swipe that card at the gate and a little stub prints out with your seat info. Really easy.

Still would like to know more about views from the seats.

Is reserved seating along the right/left field lines worth triple the general admission tickets in the outfield?

Are seats along the infield worth $75-100 a seat?

What about the view from the 300 level?

If you don't waiting in huge lines, then I would say GA is a good choice for you (it is a ton of fun in the outfield). If not, I would say it definitely is worth paying more.

300 level is actually an awesome view, I don't mind being up there at all.

300 view:

This is by far the most I have seen tickets going for on the usual websites. I've been using them for about 10 years and tickets are higher so far than the last year in Rosenblatt, Championship games against Texas and the first year at the new stadium. From a price standpoint the seats down the outfield lines aren't worth what they are asking over the GA seats. HOWEVER, the big difference is having a guaranteed seat and not having to stand in line about 4 hours to get a POSSIBLE GA seat. Personally, I'm still waiting for the reserved seat prices to go down.
