or anyone else with experience there. Heading to Beaver Lake (no pics) at the end of July. Looking for guide recommendations as well as what to target at that time. Largemouth or Striper, does it matter?

ETA: Will have the family so I think quantity would be more important than quality.

Thanks!

No guide recs but my brother has been doing pretty good on Beaver trolling with crankbaits for striper and white bass lately. I can get more info if you need.

He is going to call me at 1 with info. You can check out Ozark Anglers forum and website for Beaver Lake specifics also.

Ok, basically he said "find the shad and you will catch fish". Last week they were at the HWY 12 bridge but move around pretty frequently. Troll with flicker shad and #5 and #7 crankbait and you will catch everything (walleye, stripers, white bass, etc).

Only guide rec he had was for crappie, Ill get the info if you are interested.

ETA: Are you bringing a boat?
If you dont catch many fish just stroll over to Dickson St. and see what you can reel in.

No boat. I am definitely hiring a guide, just dont know which. Ask him if he thinks 10-12 year old kids and my wife would enjoy striper fishing.

Oh, and thanks again!

Disregard my Dickson St. comment.

Man Im sure they would love to get into some stripers and anything else that may bite. Good thing about it is that he catches multiple species every time. A good guide up there should be able to locate the bait fish and have you hooked into something.

He only knew of that crappie guide, but said to check that Ozark Anglers site and feel free to look and ask around on the forum for guide recs. Hope yall have a good time, I really like it up there.
