If LSU played Hawaii at Aloha Stadium, how many would actually fly out and attend? I would go, I have always wanted to visit Hawaii but never had an excuse to go.

LSU has never played at Hawaii, I'm not sure why.

I think we would bring at least 20,000 to Honolulu, and most fans that go would stay a good five days.

For fans that did stay home, how many would stay up for an 11pm kickoff? Tiger Fans always complain about day games and their preference for night games, but is 11pm too late for a matchup against a (more than likely) non-ranked Hawaii team?

To take it a step further, if the game was not picked up by ESPN or Fox Sports, how many would purchase the game on TigerVision? Most sports bars, restaurants, etc., that carry TigerVision games for eating and drinking customers probably wouldn't stay open until 2:30 or 3am to carry the completion of the game, so if you were to view the game, you would probably have to cough up the $34.95 to purchase the game. You could always listen to the game on 98.1 or WWL for folks all over the Gulf South because 870AM would be very clear at that time of night, but how many would give up on the game at 12:45am when the Tigers are up 28-7 at halftime?

Hopefully we schedule a game at Hawaii so all of these scenarios play out. Also, it would give LSU a 13th regular season game, which would give us one less bye week, which I'm all for.

Not nearly as many as will say they would. I'd say 5,000.

Tiger vision will be gone with the new SEC Network. I'd go for sure. I love the away game trips to places away from thr southeast. Some of my favorite road trips have been Washington, Notre Dame, Arizona State and Virginia Tech.

The cost alone would keep attendance under 15k I'd imagine. But you'd have some west coast people make it that may not make it here for a game too often.

There is this place on the campus of LSU that opponents fear and want zero part of

How bout we play as many games there as possible?

Use basketball and baseball for trips round the world

It really depends on how far in advance we know about the game. With adequate time to get things in order I'd seriously consider going.

Not entirely true. It would have to be an away game that none of the other networks pick up, including SECN. SECN probably wouldn't pick this game up, being an 12am Eastern/11pm Central kickoff and all.

An LSU at Hawaii game may be the only scenario in which we would see TigerVision again.

I'd go, while the stadium and school don't have the tradition like West Virginia or Washington, it sure would make for a good family vacation for the wife and kid but we all know what the real reason would be...

Why would someone lie about this?

I'd try to go.

Why not? What else would they be airing at that time? They'd probably be running replays of games over night anyway.

LSU has never pkayed Hawaii because they never travel to play any teams that would not have the same draw as we have atvTiger Stadium. We don't travel to North Texas or UAB. Why would we travel to Hawaii. Makes no sense. They aren't in the business of making someone's vacation more fun by scheduling games in Tropical Places. Next someone is going to ask why we don't play Rutgers in London. College Football isn't the NFL. And the state of Louisiana already loses enough money when LSU opens in Dallas or Atlanta.

They would probably get the same ratings if they ran a replay of an Arkansas-Missouri game, and it would much more inexpensive to run a replay of an earlier game or a replay of a highlight/recap show. LSU fans would be the only viewers tuning in to watch a game that wouldn't end until 2:45am.

You'd lose so much money making a trip like this, especially if it means giving up a home game.

So play the game at noon Hawaii time so that it's primetime on the main land. Post game beach party!
