This was the statement made by that jizz guzzler Duncan in a article about Butlers injury (which I will not link).

Do you agree with that? I don't. Jordan and Galette are better pass rushers in my opinion. If Will Smith is our best pass rusher, then we're in big trouble.

I sure hope not

Edit: I think Gallette can be if they let him on the field more.

Best pure pass rusher? I'd give that to Galette. He has always done well at getting after the QB when given the chance.

Smith was, but his last few years have just been pretty abysmal

This isn't even a worthy discussion. I have a lot of respect for Will Smith for what he's done for the Saints in his career. However, he isn't close to being the best pass rusher on the team right now.

Rufus is the best pass rusher on the team. We just don't know that yet.

Smith is a better pass rusher than Jordan. I have high hopes for Galette in the new system.

I understand what he is saying. Statistically, he is certainly the most proven pass rusher on the team. He has fallen off as age is catching up with him. There are others on the team that could surpass him, but that's just theoretical nonsense until the season starts, or at the very least, until the guys start training in pads.

No way, Junior Gallette followed by Malcolm Jenkins and then probably Wilson and Jordan.

Then Hicks.

Then maybe Vilma.

Then Will Smith.

Best pass rusher without being a rush liability would be more appropriate question

Does he mean over his career or now? Bc he certainly isn't right now.

If he was the best rusher on the team they wouldn't have asked him to take a massive paycut to stay on the team

Considering he was 2nd on the team in sacks last season and has proven track record of getting to the QB, I'd say Duncan isn't far off.

Of course this board probably thinks Broughton and Romeus are better than Smith and are still the second coming of Michael Strahan

6 sacks for a starting RE is pathetic. Galette had one less in limited snaps.

fricking ridiculous strawman.

I didn't say Smith was good. Our whole pass rush is pathetic.

The last 3 years have been "his year". If we keep saying it maybe he will hit one of these years
