The glasses are a dealbreaker
First of all, glasses aren't expensive. You can get active pairs for 40$ and the passive kind dirt cheap. And if you're bitching about 40$ glasses, I don't know how you afforded a 3D TV in the first place

I have a 3d Panasonic plasma but never use it. what's the difference between active and passive?

If they made it glasses free like the 3DS I'd buy one but I'm not wearing glasses in my living room.

Yeah I saw that article too. Thankfully they said it will be at the end of the year, so at least I can get one more season of football in. Maybe they'll change their mind
