Tagged Redfish Caught & Truck Given Back

A certain person from CCA just told me that a tagged redfish has already been caught in Fourchon and the winner gave it back becuase he was more interested in winning biggest trout.

I didn't hear he declined the truck. I just heard he "complained" because it was the first one caught and he would have rather had the boat that comes to the next 9, and the part about the trout catagory was just stated as his focus.

Turned it down because he came up third in biggest trout division. If he had taken the truck it would have disqualified him from participating this year and next year from the tournament. He opted for going after the trout and had to forfeit or donate the prise back to remain eligible

That's my plan if I happen to catch one and win a nautic star. That thing will be sold before I drive it home.
