Rode is someone we could really use, actually. I think we would have been better off keeping Goose this season and I think Rode can do some of what he did. The responsibility won't always be on Lahm to handle defensive midfielder duties.

I know Schweine's still not back to where he was, so any help in the defensive midfield will be beneficial. Lahm's done well in certain situations, but just wasn't up with the strength that Javi/Bastian were last year...I forget how great that duo was.

One would think the rivalry should be good for years to come. For me, RM is a year ahead of schedule, and I fully expect what happened to Bayern to be a one-off bad luck thing.

Congrats. Saw that in the Spanish press today. They said the cup or trophy slipped out of his hand (as it was slippery due to all the bier).
