After finding out we were born on the same day, I think I have a new obsession. I'm such a fan girl these days.

The only concern I have with the Thiago signing is that he will take PT away from Kroos. I would not like that.

The papers reporting today Shaq can be had for £20m. Thoughts? Reading that he is considering asking Pep for a move (away from Bayern, not to LFC).

Maybe a loan could work?

20 is a fair price and I certainly wouldn't be opposed to a loan. I don't see him leaving on a real transfer though. He just arrived last season and had one of the highest output rates per 90 minutes on the team. Ribery is old and Thiago isn't coming here to be the next left winger. Shaq said in an interview at training camp last week that he was really excited about FCB and he's talked to Pep about his plans for him going forward. I'm not sure at all where this recent transfer speculation has come from. If anything I would've expected it from some of our center mids.

Also looks like Thiago is wearing number 6, last worn by Martin Demichelis.

That dumb blue shite just got released as our CL jerseys. They don't look as bad as the leaked version. Unless the picture Adidas just posted was quite deceiving.

I would be upset if he left. He's one of my favorite players. He's going to be so good.

I don't really think LFC have a chance to be honest. If he does happen to be available, I imagine there will be CL suitors.

Reports that a €23m bid has been put in by LFC. Good money for a player who may not breakthrough for a couple more seasons.

He's one of the more versatile young attacking players. He's fast as all frick, he's short but strong - nicknamed the Powercube - he's two footed, creative, hardworking. I like him a whole lot. He can play through the center at an elite level or on either wing.

Well then no wonder Rodgers wants him. He has only scouted offensive players who are capable of playing at least 3 of the front 4 positions.

He's got a really nice free kick too. I think he'll be used a lot this season, false 9 and LW/RW/CAM. our 3 attacking midfielders are so fluid. I imagine we'll be playing a little bit different than last season, but the players are still capable of playing multiple positions.

Yeah, Liverpool used the false 9 a bit at times right? Shaq played it in preseason last year and was the best player on the field.

Yeah Tweezy, especially if Pep wants to play Ribery up the middle some, we don't have another guy better than Shaq to play lw

for sure. So I'm bored and browsing fan opinions on the transfer. pretty funny stuff, my favorite is "as long as he doesn't take time away from our players then i'm happy to have him" he is our player, theyre all our players the german bias is a bit much sometimes

Rodgers experiments as much as he can. Suarez and Shelvey both played false 9 a good amount last season. He also experimented with 3 at the back, Downing at LB, Carragher at DM, etc.

Most expect Aspas to fill into Suarez's shoes when he's gone. He can play anywhere in attack. Shaq would be amazing but I certainly won't hold my breath.
