MT Advice Regarding a Stock Split

Recently a poster started a thread about ProShares Ultra VIX Short-Term Fut ETF (UVXY). I have been monitoring it amongst other things and noticed there was a stock split this week. Can anyone inform me what happens to the price of each share you own? What is the significance of this event if you already own shares?

it did a reverse split.
A friend of mine who trades this ETF called me about to pee his pants bc he woke up checked his iphone ticker and it was at $65 only to realize it went up 10x overnight thanks to stock split ha
