Coach Mainieri said this afternoon that he does have some concerns about Cody Glenn's long lay-off, especially since he appeared a bit rusty last week. Mainieri indicated, however, that he was not inclined to lose on Saturday just to get Cody some work on Sunday. The Tigers are having a five inning intra-squad scrimmage today, and Cody will get some work in hopes of sharpening him up.

I wonder if he popped positive for adderall for the pre-draft drug screen?

I was being ironic when I quoted this. I thought it was a humorous comment; and he did, in fact, say it.

He may not be pitching in games but there's no reason he shouldn't be pitching in practice. Not sure what the concern is.

he could has come in in the 8th to set up Cotton, or in the 9th, after the big lead, but PM wan't Cotton the sr. to finish the game in his last appearance at the Box... hope it doesn't come back to haunt... practice is surely not like live action at the Box!
