Ticket Advice
Posted by glorymanutdtiger on 6/10/13 at 4:13 pm00
Do I buy the GA tickets? If so, how long I stand in line to get in.
Can I buy tickets outside the stadium?
Is it better to buy registered seats online?

You can buy tickets around the stadium, I'd shoot for the parking lots and look for LSU fans. GA tickets can plan on 4-6 hours in line.

I've purchased GA Tickets for Game 1 and 2 just to be safe. Shoot they're under 20 bucks right now. When I get there, I'll be looking for better seats.

For those individuals "I am one of those" that wants to have ticket in hand prior to going to a sporting event, this is the one you don't have to do that. I have been going to the CWS every year that LSU went since 1996. That year I tried to get tickets but they were hard to get and the ticket brokers were being stupid. Someone told me just go the event you will find tickets. It was a little un-nerving you don't want to travel all that way not to get in, but I did. I can tell you until something drastically changes I will never buy CWS tickets until I get to the stadium in Omaha.
You will find plenty of individuals selling tickets outside the stadium usually at face value sometimes just a couple of dollars over face for fantastic seats to any game you want. A good portion of the seats are sold to local residents and they end up selling them at the gates. Best secret in sports, just go to the venue you will get in, you will get great seats and you will buy them at a great price. It has never failed me.

Thanks man. I was just about to come and ask what the experiences were with buying tickets outside the gate. Makes me feel a lot better about going to Omaha w/o tix

You got a ticket or the right to get in if you are one of the 1st 5500 in line?
I thought those tickets, GA, couldn't be claimed till the day of the game.
