First flight-Supplication, Consecration, Blind Pig and Pliny. Can honestly say this is better than your average Monday.

Getting there when they opened helped us escape most of that crowd. Certainly there were plenty of them in there last night. The few patrons this morning looked more like some of the people sleeping on the sidewalks had wandered in.

Well done, sounds like you worked it right avoid the "in" crowd. Third St Ale Works is right around the corner...good brews there too. And if you feel like heading down south to Petaluma, you've got the Lagunitas brew pub. Healdsburg (north) has Bear Republic - my personal favorite. And even further north is Ruth McGowans. Tim the brewer there is a helluva nice guy...interned at Russian River.

If I was steady drinking flights of supplication, consecrations, pliny and blind pig, I wouldn't even notice the "scene" around me. I'd be in Nirvana and nothing would be phasing me. Oh, and Icanseeformiles...

Nice. I finally found a store over there that has Pliny every time I go. Friggin WholeFoods Napa is always out.
Personally, I like the Lagunitas Brewpub better, but RR beats the hell out of anything down here in Louisiana.

Fort Bend Brewing Farmhouse Ale. by far their best brew. in fact the only one I can drink without Tetuing. a very solid FH Ale.

For the record, the "scene" I encountered at Russian River Brewery was far more normal than the hipster convention I ran into on Sunday afternoon at the Bruery in LA.
