I've read more than a couple of sets of FAQs and can't see why. Anyone like to tell me the proper way to do this?

Are you sure you can read?

quote:

• Your post(s) will be whacked if you:
“Call someone out.”

“Spam” the board, i.e., attempt to sell goods or services, or direct users to commercial sites, without prior authorization from board management.

Threaten anyone.

Stalk another poster, i.e., repeatedly reply to his/her posts for the purpose of ridiculing, mocking, insulting, or flaming.

Post pictures or link to web sites showing nude men or women, male or female genitalia, or female nipples. This includes images in which such features can be seen through clothing. For women, "nude" means without top and/or bottom. Administrators may block any other images deemed inappropriate.

Post unsubstantiated information about LSU players, coaches, administrators or officials. Rumors will not be tolerated. News must at least be reported by a mainstream media outlet to support its posting. Other LSU message boards do not count as mainstream media.

Post copyrighted material from other web sites.

Flame other boards and brag about it here, or whine about what users on other boards are saying about LSU. If you have a problem with another board, take it up with that board's management.

Create outlandish posts with no other purpose but to flame.

You can't. Per the Guidlines/FAQ page:

o “Spam” the board, i.e., attempt to sell goods or services, or direct users to commercial sites, without prior authorization from board management.

I read that. I'm selling a book, not some commercial enterprise or website traffic trickery.

Do you not understand the definition of goods?

quote:

goods - A commodity, or a physical, tangible item that satisfies some human want or need, or something that people find useful or desirable and make an effort to acquire it.

a singular calculus book does not ever satisfy a human want or need and it not desirable.

Then why would anyone buy it?

Your seriously flawed line of reasoning in this discussion can only lead to a ban in your future if you persist with your absurd argument.

To fight the ban you will then have to provide proof of your learning disability in the area of reading comprehension, and the cheapest psychoeducational evaluation you will find in the Baton Rouge area will run you $250.

I doubt you will sell your calculus book for $250, so I would drop the topic if I was you.

wow. I didn't see that really clever part about the book not selling for $250 dollars coming. It was as if no one has ever used a wit as sharp as yours before.

At least your reading comprehension is improving.

So someone who is taking the calculus class which requires said book would neither want or need the book?

You're lack of logical reasoning leads me to believe you are a woman.

ComicTiger is either attempting to flame the Help Board for some odd reason or he really does have mental issues. I'm hoping for the former, but starting to suspect the latter.
