Stayed in Council Bluffs in '09. Several hotels and a casino. CB was very near old stadium (Less than 10 min.), but not sure how far to new stadium.

The LSU bar is Barrett's. It's insane all week. Volleyball court. But it's ten minutes away.

For days off, Trip Advisor recently rated Omaha's zoo as the best in America.

The casino in Council Bluffs, across the river.

I will frequent all these places.

glorymanutdtiger:

What part of Denver are you guys in? Been looking for some fellow Tiger fans. Mid 20s here - not a whole lot of younger folks down south in the suburbs!

I travel to Omaha a couple times a year. One of my favorite spots is M's Pub. Don't let the name fool you, it's a terrific restaurant in the Old Market District. You gotta try the Lahvosh! (I had never heard of it, but its hard to stay away from)!
