Man I wish I had the boat to run across Barataria Bay like I use to.
I read one report on R&R where the guy caught 51 keepers at 4BP. I ran to the west side and went as far a Bassa caught plenty but had to weed out the small ones. Took a big arse whupping getting there in the chop.

Thursday thru today were 4 fish days according to isolunar. The bite was from 11:30 am thru 2:30pm. Everyone I've talked to wacked their arse this weekend so far.

Caught a limit of nice trout on north side of Queens Bess at daylight Saturday morning all on live shrimp. The bite was fast and furious then, nadda... just that quick.

2 man limit of nice trout at barges out of Fourchon. Live minnows Carolina rig about 10' in front of barges on point. Lot of boats and all were catching. Had limit before 9:00 am Saturday - too rough Suday so went to bay and did OK but no limit.

Inshore, Most people got limit of specks Saturday, but not so good Sunday. Blue water around 30 miles out Friday, but heard it moved out farther Saturday. Weather too bad Sunday...slept in.

Everyone around us at our camp in leeville slaughtered the trout. We slaughtered the snapper. It was a good weekend.
