Had a SRO ticket for Game 2 of Supers. I passively stood at the top of section 205 (BLEACHERS) with no one 15 feet on either side of me. Some LSU fans were infuriated with my presence in their section, yelled profusely at me & had me removed. I am really confused...

I was gonna offer them a "good afternoon" and some peanuts, but couldn't even get that in before I was chastised.

We are all tiger fans! Why the animosity over little nothings? Going on a power trip over the excess unused standing area behind your cheap seats clearly illustrates your lack of character. It's hard to tell a 40 year old to grow up, but one can try.

I had SRO and moved to my buddy's section after the rain delay in 203 and there were people standing back there. I was also told people did this during the regional. So either the people that sit there suck or you did something stupid

Also, there was this older guy in their section that got so pissed that people were standing up late in the game of a game that booked our trip to Omaha

On this, I will agree with you. I have gold seats (I feel I've earned them, sat many years at the old Box in the sun on the metal bleachers from hell) and I've never cared if someone was sitting in unused seats around me. Or even if you're sitting in my seats, as long as there isn't an issue when it comes time to move (a problem I've never had). But I have seen a few people get all bent out of shape when they see someone sitting in a seat that isn't theirs. Actually saw two very-senior citizens get all up in each other's face over one guy that had moved over a few seats to talk with friends before the start of the game.

The only thing I can guess, and it is somewhat annoying at times, is when someone whom you find to be annoying is sitting near you (like a 12 year old kid kicking my seat, or a lady that has absolutely no knowledge of the game asking a nonstop slue of dumb questions) and you know that isn't where they are supposed to be. I take is all in stride though, and just enjoy the game.

The same thing happened to us for one of the regional games. We had people eye balling us as they sat, but one old fart took it upon himself to be bleacher monitor. I bit my lip and moved down, but he looked like he's played that role many times during the season and looked forward to belittling us.

I definitely enjoyed the game regardless. I just hate running into people like this. I am glad they only make up a miniscule fraction our fan base. Unfortunately southern hospitality is something learned and not instilled in us all.

Dude really was a prick for no reason. I can't stand all the people who go to the regionals and supers but don't attend any regular season games.

Hey tee_boi. Were you wearing a grey shirt yesterday in 205? I saw someone get booted off the top row before the game started in a grey tshirt.

No. I saw some of the game before being removed. That guy was victimized as well though

I can't stand these assholes who are up in everyone's business either. I had sro tickets this weekend, but when I got there on Friday there was a few handful of unused seats in the left field bleachers so I decided to sit until people came. Well for the first two innings no one sat down, then a couple came I gladly got up and moved down to another row where there were 4 unused seats in a row. That's when this old bastard took it upon himself to play marshall asking to see my ticket, etc. I ended up just getting up and leaving, but are these folks so miserable they feel they need to police the stadium? I was there by myself and fairly quiet until it came time to cheer so it isn't like I was causing any type of trouble.

You should've worn OU gear, he'd have probably offered you his seat, a refreshment, and a high five

It is apparently against the rules to stand behind seats in the bleacher sections of the Box unless you have a ticket for a top row seat. I have seen, on several occasions, Marshalls removing people from these areas in the past.

If I was an ugly girl in LSU gear I probably could've pulled it off too.
