He's probably callin us all kinds of bitches and hoez for not giving him the starting shot in our lineup projections. I think he can cut it if he's not a health liability. what does PT think of him being the guy for a year or three? better question is what does a healthy smiht lack that would not allow him the chance.

ps: dont get this twisted! im still all in on pek & len

I'm not confident in smiht being a starter. I think he is best giving a spark off the bench.

Good 3rd big, GREAT 4th big, especially since he can back up both spots as he has the range to keep defenders honest, and he's added bulk. If we draft Len, Smiht is the kind of low salaried but productive piece you can add to a trade offer that changes the other team's answer from no to yes.

you can't have a statue of the Smiht outside the arena because it would be stolen right away by one of the many Smihtettes he keeps around

pretty much. salary, physical, shooting, attitude, transition both ways. i think he's a great 3rd compared to the rest of the league.

The only reason I like him is for taking down Blake. He isn't that great player.

that's just not true. last season he played nearly the entire season injured.

the year before that, he was pretty damn good on a very shitty team. 10/5 and a block in just 23 mpg. he's very good in his role.

He's probably not a "great" player, but he is a very good big man and a very valuable player to have on the roster.

not for his toughness, the shite i listed earlier, low key attitude, all in mentality, the improvement since joining the team? ...none of that

great teammate. verbally supportive. entertaining yet not a liability. i guarantee you okc, the clips, lakers, golden st and a few others would have loved to have him this year!

I agree with some of the previous comments praising Smith's hustle and commitment to the team. I love the way he has embraced New Orleans, as evidence from his tweets about Zephyrs games and Oyster fest. He also is very positive towards fans, for example inviting them to play ps3 with him. He's useful on the court and a solid person off it and deserves to be on this team.
