I've never seen a guy run so smooth.

I think their might be a chance that Upchurch moves to another position. If it's true that he is already at 220 like it has been reported, it's possible that he could become sort of a pass catching Half Back or even a slot back or old school flanker.

I hope we get em all but one has to think all that WR talent will scare off 1 or 2. Or maybe 1 will switch to D. Could that happen?

Speedy Noil could possibly play Defense.

the last of the 247 holdouts has finally switched his vote to LSU, giving Blacknall a 100 % all in with LSU vote.

They had to wait to the very last second before he commits.

They get credit for being correct, switching at the last second?

I don't think that LSU accepts 6 WR commits. I'm guessing 5 at the most. IF I/LSU had to lose one of those 6 due to numbers, I would remove D Williams, NOT because of his ranking/ability but who honestly believes this guy is more than a 1 and done guy. You basically use up a scholarship in this loaded class of 2014 and you get a grand total of 1 year out of the signee.

Maybe I'm too optimistic about everyone else, but my own prediction is 5 out of the 6 with D Williams going elsewhere.

Jamal, I share your perspective. Speedy could play both ways in certain packages(maybe dons the #7). His athleticism lends itself nicely to all three phases of the game. Gonna be scary having him and the others on the same team.

Of course he (D Williams) commit to LSU and it lasted about 3 days I think. He "explained it/decommit" as "I didn't realize when I committed that everyone would quit contacting me". OOOOOOOOKKKKKKKAAAAAYYYY!

I guess, I just meant I thought it was funny some people were waiting to the last second to guess when hes been a lock for months now.

Regarding Upchurch, another poster mentioned he could even grow into the TE position eventually and a few think he could be the Tigers' most underrated commit so far.

But the Tigers do have an athletic pass catching TE with Deshawn Smith--two would be even better & hopefully their blocking will be above average.

Completely agree with this. Would have loved to have added a guy like Williams this past season, but for 2014, I'll pass.

Williams is an amazing player. But if it meant loosing out on other top recruits who would be here for atleast 3 years, I pass on him too, but if he wants in,

Dont sugarcoat it...he said in a interview after he committed his mission was to always get LSU whatever it took...then he decommits a few days later, we need to go all in on Noil, Quinn and Dupre. Blacknall is only a matter of time. For the time being forget about Williams.

Didn't mean on sugarcoating anything, just the facts as Joe Friday would say. But yeah, that didn't impress me either when a guy claims LSU is his dream school, they offer, he commits, and then he is pissed off that the attention went away and decommits just about 3 days later. And remember....1 year only! You would be using a scholarship in a loaded LA/TX year and you are going to get 1 year out it. If this was a stock, I would be yelling SELL!

I think most would take the others over D Williams mainly because of past academic issues and his 1 year staying in college whoever he picks.
