Against the Giants...he's expected to stay up as long as he pitches decently

Wheeler has a better chance of doing well than Cole, but I agree.

I fully expect the same, as I did with Gausman. I do think he will settle down and is a decent pitcher the rest of the way considering the park and division.

Called up the wrong guy. Cole might have the better "stuff" bet Taillon is better right now.

ETA I worded that wrong...I think Cole was a good call up but I thi k Taillon is a better pitcher right now even with less experience.

Cole's K/9 is way down to 6.2 this year. What gives?

Walks are up too, so not like he's giving up Ks in favor of control.

Taillon is the better pitcher long-term

Probably working on secondary pitches to go along with his top two.

Possible, but he's in AAA. You don't see much of that there

Cole has pitched his first inning, hitting 97-99 on his fastball

One K, two hits

Looked impressive. Pounded the strike zone. Neither hit was struck that well.

He was dealing. Command was sharp. Mostly fastballs. I think like one change and one slider.

Game is on MLB Network in BR.
