How did the US games end up being on a nowhere network? I know they were bid on and sold but c'mon.

I think it's offered on DirecTV but you probably have to pay for the subscription.

The channel was in the 600's somewhere

I've got it through Time Warner Cable, and I love it. Always have great games on.

DirecTV has it on a special sports package, and I've seen several cable providers offer it.

Must have for soccer fans...

Comcast/Xfinity carries it in Memphis, but it's nonHD.

Need directtv for HD, channel 620.

We have this discussion for every away qualifier.

After more than a year, folks should either have a provider that carries it, or know a bar/restaurant that does.

It's not like this is on the Hungarian Cooking Channel. It's on a network that is offered by many carriers as part of their sports package..... just like ESPNU or ESPN Classic, which have carried qualifiers in the past.

If you don't have BeIN by now, that's a you issue, not an us issue. Speak with your wallet, and tell your cable company that they need to carry BeIN or you'll find a carrier that does.

Has a decent good lineup today. I have the Netherlands/Indonesia friendly on in the background right now. Later on it's Bolivia/Venezuala WCQ, Argentina/Columbia WCQ, then US game. I think they're showing a few WCQ replays late tonight as well (Costa Rica/Honduras and Chile/Paraguay).

The television rights to each World Cup qualifying match are initially the property of the host country. In this case, Traffic Sports acquired the television rights for the match – in both English and Spanish . U.S. Soccer and its broadcast partners had discussions with Traffic Sports to purchase the rights, but in the end Traffic Sports opted to sell the match to beIN SPORT.

Would be absolutely solid channel if they had EPL, Bundesliga, UEFA & FA.

Not angry. Just don't understand how we end up in the same place for every road qualifier.

It's like people are pissed because the game isn't spoonfed to them. The game is readily available to ANYONE who wants to watch it.

If you don't have a carrier that carries the channel, get one that does. If you're bound to the carrier you have (i.e. apartment complex), find a bar that has one of the many carriers that have it. If there's no bar within a reasonable distance, then chances are you live in the sticks... you could probably have DirecTV or Dish, but you choose not to.

The Honduras game in 2009 that was only broadcast at one place in Louisiana (a Hispanic bar in NOLA).... that's a reason to be pissed. *My* cable provider doesn't have the channel (even though lots of other providers do)... that's just whining. Ain't nobody got time fo dat. It's gameday, son.
