Need info from RVer's that have taken them to OMA for CWS...

What's the set up? If I get situated on Friday/early Saturday, and have to leave Sunday, will I be able to get out? I mean leave as in have to leave town, not get out locally and try to get back in. Thanks.

Not sure about the new park but at the old one there wasn't much set up for RVs tailgate wise. We rented one and drove it up there thinking we'd tailgate out it and couldn't.
There was an RV park south of town that we stayed at for the week. Lots of LSU fans there. Bath houses were clean if you needed them. We had a blast.

I actually emailed the TD Ameritrade/CWS director a few months ago about this and from what he told me, this new stadium sucks as far as tailgating/rv goes. There is a small RV park about 2-3 miles north of the stadium and other than that you need to park wayyyy away from the stadium. There are no RV/trailer parking lots anywhere near the stadium according to him

Mostly cabs. But the RV next to us rented a car up there and gave us a lift to the grocery store so we just had to get cabs to and from the stadium.

Supposedly there is a bunch of casinos across the state line each having their own RV park. Just a few miles from the stadium. I am pulling my car if we make it.

The casino RV lots fill up quick. There are a couple in Council Bluffs you should STAY AWAY FROM. Our first night we stayed at one and got shite stolen. Next day we packed up and went elsewhere.

Haven't been to the new stadium, but the 3 times we took the RV, we parked at the casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa. It was only about a 5 minute drive to the stadium. I don't remember what we paid to hook up there. We towed a car and used it to go back and forth.
