I am currently trying to build a little, inexpensive wine collection (nothing too crazy, just stuff that we can drink on during the week). Here's what I have so far:

REDS
2010 Cantine Valpane Rosso Pietro
2011 Marchesi di Barolo Maraia
2009 Perrin & Fils Villages Cote du Rhone
2009 Perazzeta Rosso Sara
2007 Santa Lucia Melograno
2009 Cvne Vina Real Crianza
2004 Mauro Barbero Ania
2008 Saint Cosme Cuvee Syrah
2010 Espelt Viticultors Garnacha Old Vines
2010 Casa Castillo Monastrell
2010 Rancho Zabaco Zinfandel Heritage Vines
2010 Primus Carménère

WHITES
2011 Aveleda Alvarinho
2011 Aveleda Follies Alvarinho/Loureiro
2010 Concha y Toro Marques de Casa Concha Chardonnay

ROSE
2011 Muga Rosado
2012 Crios de Susana Balbo Rosé of Malbec

SPARKLING
La Marca Prosecco di Conegliano

I'm not really a white/rose guy, but my wife is, so she suggested those and they've been good.

What I would like to know is what are some quality $11-$24/bottle wines that you've been sipping on.

TIA

Look at any wines from Truett Hurst in California....awesome wines at reasonable prices.

Also for something a little different check out Grape Creek Winery in Fredericksburg, TX. They have some great wines they are producing.

I'll add throughout the day as I recall.

09 Boffa Dolcetto D'alba $20ish
09 Dehesa Gago Tempranillo $24
10 De Forville Barbera D'Asti $20

I opened a really nice Granche last night I picked up from Fresh Market. Scored a 90 from Robert Parker.

I can't remember the name, will try to get it for you. Was a real bargain at $16.

We got a Rose, for the SIL, when we toured the Franciscan Winery. It was the best Rose I've had, and I'm not really a fan.

ETA: All of the Franciscan reds we had were excellent, but we also paid about $50/bottle at the winery.

Sadly, may be waiting a while. If you're in NOLA, it was at the Fresh Market on St. Charles yesterday. It was under their 90's under $20 listing. I will try to remember to post when I have a chance to look.

I've also had a good run of luck with Xiloca garnacha. Good value, around $14.

I have been drinking a lot of Hawkstone cabernet. If I buy 6 at a time they're $15 each. Feel like I'm stealing because it's really good.
