I think it's going to be hard for an NFL team to pass up the apparent maturity and athleticism that he's going to show over the next couple weeks in private workouts. A heavily qualified, cheap contract can't be too far fetched can it?

Predictions only, no Bama Boy discussion.

League minimum for him would be around 700K/year, I think. I can see him making a roster. He's putting in the work now, and if he stays on track, might be a hell of a pickup.

Prediction? ....

Pain.

or he goes back to this

But I think he comes out motivated and gets signed by a team like the Jags and spends a year a backup and hopefully continues his NFL career afterwards.

I hope the best for the guy. He has to do something to absolve his legacy as the all-time biggest bust in the NFL.

I think he'll get get picked up for sure and brought to camp. Not far fetched to think he'll make a roster as a backup.

We'll see if he can maintain this over a couple years.

Gets a minimum contract and does what he does best.

There will be one dumbass team to give him a shot.

I mean the NFL is full of dumbass second and third chance opportunities, why not another on JR.

No it won't.

Drive for show, putt for dough. Dude's All-Combine in tryouts, but a bum when it matters on a weekly basis.

He could enter the NFL skills competition though annually. Do they still have those? Do you have to be in the NFL to compete?

hopefully he makes something of this comeback. I'm not expecting anything big though.

its just that being out of the league for 3 years presents a lot of doubt.

he played for a crap team the first time around. Where he gets a shot this time will be pretty significant factor I think.
