Tonight's matchup: Bonvillain (LSU) vs. Boutte (ULL)
Yes, Boutte started the earlier game today.

LSU - Brent Bonvillain 50+ pitches through 5.1 innings
LSU - Nick Rumbelow 30+ pitches through 2.2 innings
LSU - Chris Cotton 12 pitches through 1.0 innings. Game over.
ULL - Cody Boutte 104 pitches through 4.2 innings

I would say that SHS would definitely not use Godail or Dickson tonight. They would probably consider using Smith/Scott/Simms if really needed for no more than an inning.

ULL used up Robichaux and Plitt. They probably won't use Wilson. Everyone else is probably still okay, at least for a bit.

In other threads, people have quoted Rosetta's tweet saying Bonvillain is starting for LSU. Smith is my guess for ULL as well, but I don't know much about their squad.

1-3 with a 5.8 era and not many strikeouts. in other words....He finds a lot of barrels

so you think we see eades and/or mccune tonight or are maybe saving them IN CASE we go to another game tomorrow? i'm sure CPM is just going to play it by ear
