wow...kneejerk reaction:

that was the best overall episode of the series...of all 3 seasons, that was one huge blood pressure spike

secondly, that first 30 minutes may end up as the best half hour of television of 2013. That was emmy-worthy. The way they would bounce back and forth between the radio at the station and the actual conversation in the car...that was art

and whomever Bullet thinks it is, in the end, she's going to be wrong, it'll be the other guy, whomever that ends up being

I know I keep saying this, but what an absolutely amazing show. This third season has trumped anything 1 & 2 have done combined.

Joel Kinnaman is fricking awesome.

This season has so much more depth compared to the first two. First two seasons were terrible when Linden and Holder weren't on screen. I didn't give a frick about the mayor or Rosie's mom ( her stupid side plot with the runaway girl almost made me quit the show)

This season is totally different. I find myself actually invested in Bullet's story (Lyric is an ugly count btw). Peter Saarsgard giving an amazing performance as Seward. Heck, even the guard shite is interesting. Great moment tonight with Francis helping Seward through the panic attack.

I just hope they learned their lesson from season 1. They've got three episodes to wrap the Seward story up. I have a feeling Linden's boy toy will wind up doing something that has a profound effect in whether or not we see Linden again next season.

That was something, I kept waiting for him to say something like "we're not letting anyone else die on my watch"....but he didn't. That scene can be interpreted so many ways. Really well done.

I thought that interaction where Holder brings the chinese was so deep. Guilt, regret, fear, embarrassment, anger, solace......just so much conveyed with virtually no dialogue. Amazing

Also, I sensed Holder's anger with Bullet coupled with his speech how he let his sister down as slightly connected. There was a part of him that saw himself as a punk in Bullet, and that angered him.

I think we all knew when she "walked away" at the end of last season, that wasn't the end of Linden. But now, they've at least toyed with the idea, if only for a second, that Linden's role may be coming to a close. If the boyfriend went on a jealous rage and killed her at the finale, I wouldn't be shocked. It surely would propel Holder into a new paradigm next season if that happened.

I thought for sure he was going to say "You're not dying before I get the chance to watch your arse hang". The fat guard's reaction was mine as well

My first inclination would be to think that Francis plays a role but then would Bullet's believed culprit be bullshite? I see no connection between the two and it was stated the Bullet knew who it was. I took that to mean not just a name but actually knowing the killer.

Still difficult to say, but - our suspects are:

Francis
Other guard from Galactica
Probation Officer
Koteas
Mom's Boyfriend

I'm not even going to begin to make a guess

My gut says that it's a red herring..... Bullet gets a fix for 4-finger Sally. Sally gives up a name. Bullet tells Holder, then Holder and Linden go chase this name down. It's not the right guy, it's one of the other ones. They cant stop the execution, but they catch the killer......Seward dies in vain, Linden dies, end of season 3

goddamn these last few episodes are going to be brutal to watch. With the race against the clock, and what will likely end in the execution of an innocent man.

i don't mind a lot, in terms of content, but families getting fricked with & criminal system injustice just bums me the frick out. i can't deal.

Gotta be. Whoever killed all the girls in the swamp was going after hookers. Seward's wife didn't fit the profile of all the other victims.

I too think Seward dies as an anti-death penalty statement although he really hasn't tried to clear his name. I wouldn't be surprised to see Linden's boyfriend be the killer but it would be a total ripoff of Dexter.

Yeah he is.

I think Francis helping Seward with his panic attack is an attempt to humanize him before they drop the bomb that he's the killer (him not coming home and being sketch about his shift seems to be pointing that way).

Veena Sud said before the season started that the case will be wrapped up by season's end. Now I don't know whether that means Seward's end will be tied up though.

I don't see Linden getting killed off/leaving though. Not now that they're really pushing the chemistry with her and Holder.

Totally forgot about him and there is still a lot of mystery about the mom's boyfriend. As stated I'm leaning toward Francis. Sadly I think Seward does die.

I started to get the feeling it was going to end up being him the episode before last.

Yeah, he apparently has dual citizenship here and there with his Mother I believe being Swedish and Father American.
