I recently had to move my office from downstairs to upstairs above my garage. My wireless router, which is located in my kitchen, isn't quite powerful enough to reach upstairs. I can get a weak signal every once in a while, but for the most part, I'm without.

I don't know anything about creating wireless systems. What is the best route to take to getting wireless upstairs? Can I run a cable line upstairs and just set up a second wireless network? Do they offer wireless routers that have boosted signals?

you wireless g or n?

old is G, new is N

you'd have to get new router, and upgrade your computer to receive N signal if it doesn't already
