I'm sure it has to do with a timer involved that gives managers/staff a financial incentive to go fast correct? Are there any corporate policies that specifically prohibit asking customers to do this? I've never done it and almost always get some shite attitude for declining to play the game. I don't recall it ever happening up until a couple of years ago and now it's damn near every time I pull up to one of these windows (which God knows I shouldn't do at all). Any insider info you can give a guy?

Hope you enjoy spit in your food. Is it really such a hassle?

I didn't mean to offend your job at the BK lounge and thanks for the insight. FWIW the food was literally already in the bag so no spit for me. Sorry to disappoint again

You ask a stupid question and expect real answers.

Yes, it is a timer. They have to have the people in and out in a certain amount of time.

And don't frick with people handling your food. Ever. Just do what they say.

yes, I would have too but she already had my $$ and it was literally one breakfast sandwich that was already prepared before I even pulled up. No special order, no nonsense at all. My question is if the overall company knows and accepts that this is the common way operators cheat the system or not? I thought it was a valid question for a food and drink discussion board, perhaps not

McDonald's here actually has 2 or 3 designated parking spots labeled for people to wait. Pretty ridiculous.

Almost every McD I've seen has designated pull-up spots, so I'm sure it's corporate-endorsed.

Rarely have ever had to pull up at a McD, though. ALWAYS at Popeye's, which is why I quit going.

that's interesting, I've never heard of such a thing. I must say that I do have a problem with people using the drive thru for HUGE to-go orders such as lunch for a soccer team in a 10 person van (or some such). To me, that should be an inside order but alas they don't ask my opinion. If you order something like a number 4 off the menu and the restaurant can't produce that in the corporate-allotted time frame then it's bs to have that customer move so that it looks as if you're all rockstar employees that deserve a raise.

Why aren't you calling out the others saying to not mess with people handling your food?

I asked the question(s) to get some informed feedback to respond to. Why are you so concerned? You've given your dumbass responses, let it go.

Thanks for enlightening me on the annoyance of pulling up because I haven't dined at Mac and Don's Supper Club in well over 20 years.

I've never heard of pulling back or forward. I only pull out.

They are assigned a corporate score based on "the average wait at the window for order completion"

When ou refuse to pull up, you hurt their rating and eventually they will get you for that bit of rudeness you throw at them.

Never believe that the staff at a fast food place won't remember you. Probably pick their nose and wipe it on your fries.

What could it hurt to pull up amd help them get a better service score? You are sitting there with your motor running. Are you one of those who pull up to the window and turn off the ignition? If you are, why do you do that?

I like the fact that them asking me to pull up indicates that they didn't have at least part of my order precooked.
