My first thought was to bench him @ Phillies... What are owners of Gallardo doing with him? Is he a start or a bench?

My SP the last few weeks has been horrid so trying to minimize the damage.

3-0 1.74 ERA 0.73 WHIP career against the Phillies. The Phillies offense isn't anything special and you at least have the numbers backing you. Worth the start.

IMO you are making the correct choice by starting him.

Utley is the Phillies best batter by far and he is on the DL. Howard is currently playing through a sore left knee.

Dominic Brown has legitimate power and has been on a tear as of late but his OBP is atrocious and still chases way too many pitches that are out of the zone.

Phillies aren't a good team.

Something like 30 of their last 31 home runs have been solo homers.

Start him
