Yes this is a tad of a guess, and if I end up being wrong after tomorrow, I'm sure this will be bumped with clever jokes that insult me. Whatever. I just want this on record because I have said this in a couple of threads.

I really think ULL is putting itself behind the 8 ball by holding Robichaux and assuming they can get by SHSU on Friday. Yes, we all know ULL has the rape sticks, but their pitching may be just a tad better than Jackson St.'s – the difference being Robichaux. Go look at their stats and compare them to SHSU's, Bearkats have a much better staff.

I can very easily see ULL losing tomorrow night, beating JSU on Saturday, then lose to hopefully SHSU on Sunday.

Well if that were to happen, then we would see ULL the next day.

Broski you are right. I looked at Sam Huston and they had a tougher scheduale and actually beat A&M!

Ull played an extremely weak scheduale and beat no one worthy. Ull lost to Tulane!

This could be an upset!

Just like y'all like to play the game of the Sun Belt is no SEC and all this jazz... let's use the same logic here... the Southland is no Sun Belt.

This isn't football guys, or basketball, it's baseball and the Sun Belt is a damn strong league. Think about it, the dominant baseball leagues all come from either the South, the East Coast, or the West Coast. The Sun Belt ranked 5th this year amongst 32 baseball conferences. So go ahead and keep doubting the Cajuns ability to beat Sam Houston.

The reality is that yes, we can lose to them... will it happen? Maybe, but if it does it would be an upset.

Cajuns RPI = 22
Cajuns Strength of Schedule = 58

Sam Houston RPI = 48
Sam Houston Strength of Schedule = 85

Look at the Conference ratings below. The Southland is the 12th best league, not exactly high caliber. It's cute that you guys get on here and act like the Sun Belt sucks, because the truth is, in Baseball we don't at all... and it just shows me that you have no idea what you're talking about.

RPI Rank W - L Win Pct
ACC..........................0.5774 1 237 - 65 0.7848
SEC..........................0.5621 2 255 - 96 0.7265
Pac 12......................0.5459 3 176 - 101 0.6354
Big 12.......................0.5388 4 171 - 93 0.6477
Sun Belt....................0.5278 5 154 - 95 0.6185
Big Ten.....................0.5209 6 166 - 133 0.5552
Big West...................0.5195 7 151 - 131 0.5355
Colonial Athletic.........0.5177 8 153 - 112 0.5774
Big East....................0.5173 9 197 - 139 0.5863
Conference USA........0.5144 10 154 - 123 0.5560
Southland..................0.5136 11 145 - 118 0.5513

The two seed is better than the three seed??? NO frickING shite!!

This is the Tournament. Anything could happen, especially when you "save" the only pitcher on the staff worth a shite for Saturday.

Dude, we aren't trying to just advance in the tourny. You don't get a prize for finishing 2nd. Our only shot to win this Regional is by beating LSU on Saturday and staying in the winner's bracket.

Sure, if you lose Friday, then it backfires, but really.... whether you lose Friday, or lose Saturday, you're still fricked having to try and beat LSU twice on Sunday/Monday.

It's a strategy... it's a pitching rotation... nothing new to postseason college baseball.
