This is the future folks. A year from now when the SEC Network comes to life, ESPN will determine how you will see (or not see) any LSU sporting event. Get used to it. LSU has sold you out for the cold, hard cash once again. If you don't have cable and your cable company doesn't carry the SEC Network then you are totally screwed!!

Yep. CST, Geauxzone broadcasts, etc. will be a thing of the past.

I'll be streaming the game from my iphone at work tomorrow but for any xbox owners you can use the espn app and watch the game on ur tv in 1080 HD. That's my plan for the rest of the weekend.

no worries.

They should still be able to access the game.

Streaming games is the main reason I bought a laptop with an HDMI out.
I've had a 47" flat screen hooked up to a Mac Mini with HDMI for two years. Watched a lot of streaming stuff, Geaux Zone, ESPN3, Netflix, etc.

It seems like 70% of the time it is okay. The other 30% you get really horrible blurry images, frozen screens that have to reload every minute or so, and worst of all a couple of times when I just lost signal and couldn't get it back for ten minutes or so.

Can you imagine when that happens at the crucial part of a game?

If they're ISP is on the affiliated providers list.

How can I get access to all ESPN networks available on WatchESPN?

Online registration through your TV service provider is required in order to access content on all networks. Non-participating TV provider customers have access to ESPN3 programming online only at WatchESPN.com or on WatchESPN on the XBox with a XBox LIVE Gold membership, as long as they subscribe to a participating high speed internet service provider.

Which is almost every single provider in the country. WatchESPN has the limited number of providers.

Just about everyone with a desktop or laptop should be able to watch every game.

Do you not think that LSU could have threatened to leave the SEC and that would have nixed the deal? Especially after Texas got it's own network and destroyed the Big 12.

Aleva sees this as a good thing, never doubt! Besides the money, he can do away with Geaux Zone and not have to worry about making it better. He doesn't have to negotiate individual games with Pay for View or local stations. And best of all, like this baseball game, he isn't responsible for programming decisions and can just point the finger at ESPN and say shut up leave me alone.
