I stopped reading when they got the dates of the Draft wrong, which I believe was in the first sentence of the article.

Someone needs to teach this writer and editor the concept of a paragraph.

We seem to be his backup plan.

He mentions getting drafted is his dream.

We have nice depth in the OF and hopefully we can land Fraley, longhi, and Dehart

I would assume anytime you hire an advisor that MLB is your #1 option and I don't blame him if the money is right.

What are the chances that the "advisor", who stands to benefit significantly if he signs, actually suggests to him to pass up the $$ and enroll in college?

I was wondering if that "advisor" was his agent.

Doesn't become his agent until he signs a contract. Until then, he's an advisor, so the player retains amateur status.

He won't get nearly 7 figures unless he goes to a team that has above average slot pool money for this year and has extra money to throw around.

Adam, generally what is the lowest round he could be drafted and receive that kind of money?

It's not an exact science but if he wants to be sure he's getting 7 figures he better be selected in the top 50 picks.

Only about 10 kids got 1 million + bonuses after the mid 2nd round.

What would you bet happens? MLB or LSU?

I'm not Adam, but from what I've heard I'd put it at 90/10 that he goes MLB.

It's obvious he's looking to get the best bonus right now. Depends on where he's drafted and how low he's willing to sign for. Right now I have him signing.

If I'm this guy, which I know I'm not but if I were, it's a million plus or LSU period!!! Then again if I don't get a good bit over a million I'm going to college bra! That experience is once in a life time, plus he would make a mil or two in those 3 years of college, chance at a natty, a degree, home town hero or in state hero, plenty of girls, just the college experience period. Bregman is the perfect example, even if I'm his advisor he gets a cut so.... A cut of 900k or a cut of 1.5 to 2 million?? Hummm??
