Family and friends are heading to Audubon Zoo Saturday. We will have kids between 2 and 5. I am looking for beers and food afterwards. I see Franky and Johnny's closed shop.
Any ideas? What about Ignatius Eatery or Juan's Flying Burrito?

Dat Dog on Magazine. Not too crowded, great beers, and good for kids.

I just went to Tru Burger before the zoo.
Juan's is good.
Can kids go to GB's?

Yeah I figured when he was thinking about Juan's and Ignatius that Dat Dog was fair game. I doubt you would find a better kid friendly atmosphere with their beer selection anywhere else UPT.

Jaun's is way too far but that is what my buddy recommended. What about St James Cheese company?

Nothing wrong with St. James

Interior tables at St James are close together, and service is not especially speedy. You can sit on the patio, though seating is limited. Still, the food is tasty & lends itself to a picnic, if you want to eat it in the park. You can call ahead and pick it up.
Reginelli's at the corner of State & Magazine is very kid friendly. The new location (directly across the street from the old one) has offstreet parking.
TruBurger on Oak is definitely kid friendly, with milkshakes, thin cut fries, and burgers fixed any way you like. Ditto for the outdoor tables at Cowbell (Oak next to the train tracks)--plenty of space for children, with a kid-specific section of the menu.
ETA also consider Panchita's, 1434 Carrollton, for Mexican.

The ducks and peacocks love the bird seed in the 25 cent dispensers.

I agree with all of this except Panchita's. Pretty small. If you're with a group of more than 4 it can be a pain.
