We needed a beer thread today so....

I am only 1.5 years into the whole craft beer scene, so there are tons and tons of beers i am willing to sell my first born daughter to try...
Below is an attempt to begin my 2013 must try beer list. I will begin with those off the top of my head, and try to add to or refine as discussion begins.

X MARKS WHAT IVE HAD SO FAR THIS YEAR

* Heady Topper~ The Alchemist X

* Nelson IPA~ Alpine Brewery

* Jai Alai~ Cigar City X

* Parabola~ Firestone

* Breakfast Stout~ Founders X

* Pliny the Elder~ Russian River X

* Pliny the Younger~ Russian River

* Sculpin~ Ballast Point X

* Whiskey Barrel Rodeo~ Jester King

* Zombie Dust~ 3 Floyds

* Abner~ Hill Farmstead

* Nugget Nectar

* Daisey Cutter- Half Acre X

* Bitter Monk- Anchorage X

* Oak Aged Yeti- Great Divide X

* Bourbon County Stout- Goose Island SOON

* Dark Lord RIS- 3 Floyds

* The Abyss- Deschutes

* Irish Channel Stout- NOLA

Cot damn my list keeps growing.... When will it be mine turn?

Wanted to update this thread. I didnt think i would get a chance at any of those original beer i listed.... my list now is twice as long lol...This has been a very memorable year in acquiring some brews. I look in mY "cellar" right now and i have Marshal Z, Hunaphu, Double Daisy Cutter,Good Gourd, Ten Fidy, and a few others staring at me. Also have Gandhi Bot and GI BCBS heading my way.... Ive come a long way in a short time, but i still have a bunch to drink. its been fun.

I don't know about any "must haves" but I'm always trying to find new beers to try.

Just one: Pliny the Elder. Beachwood BBQ in Seal Beach had it on tap in April and again for four days last week. I didn't go because I promised my daughter I wouldn't drink it without her being there (she says she's "involved" and "wants to take pictures") We played tennis after work last Thursday and they ran out Thursday afternoon actually. Was gonna go. I'm on to you, Pliny, I'm on to you. Btw I'm starting to think Total Wine and More's claim that they occasionally have it are bullshite.

I've had most on that list and will be trying 2 on that list that I haven't tried within a couple weeks when I get Zombie Dust and Jai Alai.

Founders KBS
Bell's Hopslam
