Which ball club is better iyo. Even if this one does not win it all, it doesn't mean the 09 club is better. Personally I really liked Coleman, schimpf (sp?) and Nola. But I think this team has it all too.

Who do you take :popkern:

I tend to side with you. 2 months ago I would take the 13 club though

09 when playing their best ball was deadly, better than anything this years team has done so far.

Hard to pick because there are things I really love about both squads. I'm going to say '09 just because they beat Texas in the championship, I hate Texas.

I really think this team has better offense and the defense is about equal. Don't care what the stats say. Pitching was better in 09 though.

...Dean, Mitchell, Mahtook, Ranaudo, Gibbs, LeMehieu, Landry, Jones.

It's not an opinion. '09

Would you take Nola over bregs? Serious question.

Well, the potential is their. Our 1-6 was just as good as I've seen for a while, then it fell off

If he needed a lift sure, kid didn't weigh too much.

I think the opposite. I like 09's offense way better (could be the bats) but in a pinch I would take this overall pitching staff's depth over 09.

Comparable. 09 was better, imo. Starting pitching was proven. This year it's pieces and parts in the lineup that make it more cohesive. Not the pitching that I'm referring too. Every day lineup doesn't exist. Thus, we argue more.

I'd take Bregman unless you're talking about just defensively. But going back to you saying 09 pitching was better, this teams pitching is better. I just think when you look at 09 you had a team that was as good defensively and a team that could rake and in the most crucial moments. They had a lot of timely hitting and of course the old bats helped with that. They just had "it" as well.

Its hard comparing the offenses due to the major differences in the bats
