I know I'm jumping the gun but does anyone know what our super regional dates are? Are we getting the fri-sun or sat-mon? I'm flying out to Chicago that Monday so I hope we get the fri-sun or if not hope we get it done in two games so I can be there!

Last year, the same side of the bracket was the Friday to Sunday bracket for Supers but who knows...got some games to win before I worry about that

I think they are all Friday-Sunday this year with the whip-around channel? No?

I just saw on the NCAA website it's said super regional dates June 7-10 so that made think they were doing like they did last year some start on Friday and some start in Saturday

Its not tv coverage that makes it like this. They try to give an equal amount of time off between games since some teams don't play until day 2 in Omaha.

They split it up as Fri-Sun and Sat-Mon FOR TV when ESPN started televising super regionals.

Super regional times:

4 start on Friday, 4 start on Saturday. The 4 who start on Friday are usually from the same side of the bracket, while the 4 from Saturday are from the other side of the bracket...to keep the number of off days uniform headed into the CWS. All times are Central. Here is the link for the non-believers LINK

Site 1: Friday 12:00, Saturday 11:00, Sunday 12:00

Site 2: Friday 3:00, Saturday 2:00, Sunday 3:00

Site 3: Friday 6:00, Saturday 3:00, Sunday 6:00

Site 4: Friday 6:00, Saturday 9:00, Sunday 9:00

Site 5: Saturday 12:00, Sunday 12:00, Monday 12:00

Site 6: Saturday 11:00, Sunday 3:00, Monday 3:00

Site 7: Saturday 6:00, Sunday 6:00, Monday 6:00

Site 8: Saturday 6:00, Sunday 9:00, Monday 6:00

I think we can safely rule out Site 4 and Site 8. They are reserved for the west coast super regionals.

3 or 7 would be optimal. We were 1 last year, and between the rain and the early Friday game, it pretty much sucked.

If ya'll want a primetime slot, ya'll better hope for some upsets, doubt we get it over a potential UNC-SC matchup, Fullerton and/or UCLA is getting the late game, Vandy Louisville would garner a primetime slot as well. Or NC St-Oregon could be primetime. Hope some of those teams get upset

Speaking of jumping the gun, is it known if LSU will play saturday or Sunday for their first game in Omaha?

Siap.

It used to rotate each year but the past 2 years, the 2nd seed side of the bracket played on the 1st day of the CWS.

As was said above, the Fri-Sun Supers play the first day of the CWS.

If the brackets hold, CSF and Oregon will get the late games.

I think the #1 seed rotates back to play the first day this year, and I would bet we get Site 2 with UNC getting Site 1.
