... watching LSU win the SEC Championship and seeing those smug and entitled "Dores" fans come in like lions and leave like lambs ... Priceless!

Smug and entitled? Yeah, the Vandy fans are quite possibly the nicest people I talked to all week.

No, they are not. I didn't have one problem with any Vandy fans.

Vandy is probably fan base I'd most rather play a game against due to lack of douchiness when compared to the others (OM, State, Arky, A&M, UF, Aub, etc.)

LOL what? There were maybe 1,000 of them there and they were for the most part silent.

They were definitely into it, and they know their baseball. Was nice to just talk baseball for a while with those folks without the conversation being inevitably steered toward football.

I didn't talk to any of them, but didn't have a problem with them. Except for the ones that sat on the third base side and were cheering hardcore for VANDY. Didn't understand that. Also Friday I sat next to one lady who was doing the black and gold cheer and has a cartoonishly high pitched voice when she yelled gold.

Yeah, but it only takes one annoying whistler to ruin the entire gameday experience for everyone.

The tv crew must have had a microphone set up right next to him. It was terrible.

Yeah, I was two rows in front of that guy... him and his group (who kept yelling at the first base ump) were really f'ing annoying. Fortunately the rest of the Dores I met were great.

Overall an awesome trip... my first to Hoover, and my kids' first LSU game of any sort!

I wouldn't even know what this is like with my "in-laws."

They "don't care about baseball."

Yes I married a Gump.

FYI...my wife is an avid LSU bball fan. Loves going to games, and proudly wears purple and gold when we go. She knows all the players names and appreciates the history of success.

Football is a bit of a problem.
