I'm content with not having Laird in the lineup. It's not that I don't like the kid but man it's frustrating watching him swing sometimes. That said, Stevenson is a similar batter and I have confidence in either one should they be in the lineup. But when BOTH are in, it hurts the offense a bit. Jacoby coming back will be great if he continues swinging hot and I really hope we find ways to get both Foster and Moore out of the Dugout. This is something I personally would like to see:

McMullen DH
Foster RF
Bregman SS

Katz 1B
Rhymes LF
Ibarra 3B

Jones 2B
Ross C
Stevenson CF

I also wouldn't mind seeing Stevenson bat in the 7 hole to have someone that hopefully Jones and Ross can hit around the bases. It'd be interesting to see something like Foster in Center and McMullen in Right to get Moore some DH time. We all know that's not happening so that's just thinking out loud. Just really want to get Moore in somewhere. What do other boxtards think?

I think Foster should start regardless of lefty/righty matchups.

He would have to get on base for this. A healthy Laird or Sciambra here.

The rest looks good.

Foster has looked exceptional in RF as well. I can't see any argument for not having him in. That outfield assist yesterday was uh-mazing.

Do not want him playing until he 110% healthy. He is next to worthless with a 85% leg.

His best utility is speed. If he can't run (better than Stevenson at that), he's out. I agree 100%.

Also love Foster batting second. Still gives us some speed in the 2 hole that PM likes.

This is the blessing in disguise with the injuries to Jones and Laird. CPM has a lot of versatility now with his lineup depending on the pitching matchups without having to compromise defense...it spells trouble for LSU opponents as Vandy found out yesterday.
