Just got back from Hoover. Some comments.

Had a great week, wish I could have stayed longer but had to return to work. But I had a few questions and comments.
1. Hoover had a great venue but for a SEC host, showed no compassion for any team other than Alabama. Also no LSU merchandise anywhere in town.
2. When the LSU bus broke down, the players were treated to a 2012 state of the art bus that seemed to make them a little happier.
3. I noticed that the Aggie players only signed autographs for the girls and not the kids. LSUs Bregman seemed to be the most popular with the kids.
4. LSU fans were everywhere and madden our trip non-forgettable.
5. Do not stay at the LaQuinta Inn on State Farm Rd, Homewood. This was the worst part of the trip. But the Met was a great field and the weather was amazing. Concession was a little steep but I was expecting that.

Concessions here are amazing compared to the box. Much better quality for a cheaper price.
There's still a game left, brah

Thanks for the report...I have never been to Hoover, but this makes me want to go even more. Where did you get tickets? Were hotel rooms hard to get and what was the price?

I agree with previous poster. Game needs to be played at Redbirds park.

In their defense, it's not like they're used to seeing many chicks.

Too far away, put it at Jackson, MS. Great park centrally located.

I bought the tickets on the SEC website for 76 dollars. It game me a six pack of tickets that could be used for any session. During the week, you could watch 2 games with one ticket. I Mage reservations for the hotel through Expedia and got a good price just a crappy hotel that had good reviews. Parking was free at the park and the Gallaria Mall was nice.
