This is why Im not a fan of Cotton pitching tomorrow.
So your opposition to throwing Cotton and Bourgeois is that you think we have better options given the amount that they have pitched?
Weird.

Dumbest post in the thread.
If you didn't want to win the tournament, you should have mailed it in on Wednesday and Thursday. Getting beat by the conference champion in the tournament championship game isn't a way to start the post season. Baseball is a game of streaks. You can't rest the horses and expect everyone to flip the switch when it counts.
LSU has never won a CWS without winning the conference or conference tournament. I'm playing to win tomorrow for numerous reasons. Playing to win means every person in the dugout is available. Mailing it in is not an option.

Apparently many a tards confuse LSU baseball & LSU softball. Nola ain't gonna pitch tomorrow. Eades ain't gonna pitch tomorrow. Glen ain't gonna pitch tomorrow. Once a pitcher at this level throws hard for four or five innings, he's done for a few days. Cotton can come back probably. One short inning of work (7-15 pitches) is fine. That's like bullpen work.
But 65-85 pitches, forget about it. You people forget this tournament means jack shite (except your pride).

That and why risk ruining Cotton by pitching him 3 days in a row. More concerned about him than Bourgeios.
With Bonvillain starting tomorrow, I'd go him, then McCune, then Fury. If anyone else is needed, maybe Lamarche to close it out.

We've got to get 9 effective innings out of Bonvillain, McCune, Fury, Bourgeois, Devall, Cotton, Rumbelow, Berry, and LaMarche.
I'd rather not use Cotton and Bourgeois unless necessary, but Bourgeois before Cotton.
McCune should start with Bonvillain up next, as that's where they're both most effective.
Berry and Rumbelow in short relief with Fury and Devall in longer relief. LaMarche for short relief only if we feel like he's as sharp as he was today.
It's not out of the question.

LeMarche is out after 2 innings today. And Devall is in summer ball already?

If I were CPM, every pitcher on the staff is available. I start Eades and tell him he's got 3 innings. Next is Nola for two innings, followed by Glenn for one inning. After that, whoever feels spry and wants to win the game.
thank God you aren't CPM

I'm pretty sure Devall was carried on the roster in Jacoby Jones' place.
LaMarche didn't throw a lot today, if you read what I said after I listed pitchers, you'd understand why I listed him.

Apparently this thought is rantarded
I'd say we go Bonvillain, McCune, Fury, Rumbelow. That may be all we need.
